Holly has been married three times. The first time Holly was married, it was to Danny Quinn. The two became married in the year 1991. They they divorced in 1993. She met Jim Carrey in 1994 during the auditions for Ace Ventura Pet Detective. The role was never given to her, however they became friends while filming Dumb and Dumber. They got married in the year 1996. They divorced after less than one year. In 2001, she got married to Francis Greco. He was a Canadian Investment banker. The couple had three sons, Henry, George and Alexander Holly Greco. The day she tied the knot with Greco in 2007 she was granted Canadian citizenship. They divorced in 2014 Holly, her father Grant, and their families live together with Holly at Oakville (Ontario, Canada) along with three of her children. Holly and her family, including her father Grant and her mother, established The A Fund, at Hobart College and William Smith Colleges, in 1992 to remember her brother Alexander. Holly recalled that Alexander was "a young man with a lot of hope and desires". He was just 14 years old when he passed away, but he traveled throughout Central America and Europe, was a resident of New York City, and Los Angeles. His experiences inspired him in architecture and archaeology.

Alaina Suddeth Suddeth's parents include Kristy Suddeth from Rossville in Georgia and J. J. Suddeth. She was born in Rossville in Georgia. Her father is an Chattanooga process technician. in a choir for children as well as at an annual vacation with karaoke, she sang her first shows in public. The singer sang at church and restaurants, as well as celebrations with the family, and everywhere within a 30 mile radius from where she lived. Alaina was a singer at the age of 8, took home her first prize in the Southern Stars Pageant Talent Competition. Next year, she performed on the Kids Talent Stage during the Chattanooga Riverbend Festival. Alaina took home the WinniSTAR contest to showcase young talent in 2009 at Lake Winnepesaukah. She also wrote songs like Leaving and Set Me Free. Alaina was in awe of singing by her sister, Holly Witherow, who was diagnosed with the brain tumor. Alaina was employed by CiC's Pizza prior to she joined Idol. She is a graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe Senior High School within Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
